Erika Tobias

Erika Tobias is a great addition to the Exit 501 Team.

Erika participated in D.I.N.O off-road Bicycle events in Indiana when she lived in the mid-west. She was an Avid Horsewoman back in the day, and she has lived in Colorado since 1999 and built a home above 11,000 feet on a Mountain Pass. She currently calls Breckenridge and its ski slopes home.

Both Erika and her 16-year-old son are new to the sport of Dirt Bike & Dual Sport riding, though both are avid mountain bike riders and skiers. Before Erika was married and had two kids, she finished the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Twice and the Ride Across Indiana.

Erika rides a 2018 KTM 690, which she had lowered by Andrew Short’s old mechanic at American Bike Tailor in Colorado Springs and it has a trick custom seat by Butch Baker’s Aquatech Upholstery. She is looking at a Beta X-Trainer for Singletrack and perhaps giving the Women’s ‘C’ class a go, as she is ultra-competitive in whatever she puts her mind to.

  • She holds a B.A. from Indiana University.
  • She is a 2003 graduate of Colorado School of Healing Arts, and has been in private practice as a massage therapist in Breckenridge for more than 15 years.
  • She is an officer of the Summit County Toastmasters and a member of the Rotary Clubs and is active in each.
  • She is a graduate of Meta Yoga School and practices yoga daily.
  • She is also a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering and specializes in fundraising for non-profits.

Erika and her family look forward to learning motorcycle skills and helping the Off-Road and Dual Sport & Adventure community grow and prosper. She is interested in fun, safe and educational experiences. Erika will also act as the Event Masseuse.
